Interview with the Casual Author Podcast with Dan Kenner

Recently I finally bit the bullet and joined TikTok, which was the last vestige of social media I did not want to join. However, I have met some great authors there.

            One of the authors I found was Dan Kenner. He is not only an author, but a homesteader too like us! I love his homestead videos because they remind me of what I do daily in my own life (however, on a much smaller scale).

            After a couple weeks I found out that he has a podcast called the Casual Author. I learned about this the day after my book was released. As I started marketing my book, I decided to not be afraid to put myself out there.

            Taking a chance I sent him a message and told him a little bit of my story and how I was able to overcome the obstacles a TBI can create in order to write my book. Being neurodivergent leads to interesting obstacles, but I hoped that my story would give others the courage to tell their stories!

            And guess what?? I got a YES!

            After a couple weeks we had our interview and it went great. We talked about how I went about my publication journey, how I write with my TBI, our homestead, of course my book, and so much more.
